One of the Disney Movies I missed in 2010 was Camp Rock 2. I was out of the country at that time and even if I was with my niece, who’s six years old and must be “into” Disney stuff, we never got to watch the movie. I haven’t watched the entire movie, even now. But, my daughter sang all of the songs to me, as she mimics the dance steps, on Skype and when I got back here in the Philippines, she did all of them live. We even worked on considering this same song as “her” Christmas presentation. I think it’s timely that I use this video as a springboard for my first entry for the year and the month. Because in its entirety – “last year’s old news” and this year is full of beginnings, surprises, smiles and wonderful opportunities. God has been so good to me and my family and I pray for His continued protection and guidance in all that we do.

The New Year’s celebration was at Lola Owing’s this year and it was such fun and exciting night. I didn’t get to drink much, for a change, and it’s the first to really drink with the clan. There was no program but it was a simple way to celebrate, bonding like that. The kids performed about 4 dances and were playing all throughout. We ended around 11pm, that’s a first too. Food was awesome, love the home made potato salad.

It is truly going to be a surprising year!!!
